19th c. Store Display Biscuit Box
This store display Biscuit Box has great character and charm. The paper printed labels are both in good condition with very little fading or losses, and the label on the inside of the lid retains great original color. The labels read: "C.D. Boss & Son". "Choice and Fancy"-"Biscuits - New - London, Connecticut." The Label on the outside body of the box reads: "The famous registered lunch milk" referring to the companies patented lunch milk biscuits. There is also a stamped label reading "Longfellow Salted."

Condition: The piece shows the usual signs of use and wear for commercial/industrial item of this age including: surface oxidization, rubbing, cracks and fading and imperfections in the paper labels.
