Antique Louis XV Armoire
Antique Louis XV Armoire
In a shape and form very typical of the Regency and early LXV periods, this armoire has likely had the carved decorative elements added about 150 years later or circa the 1870's. The armoire has several very, very old paper labels affixed. One label reads "Saint Malo", which is in Brittany, on the coast, in north western France. This goes along with the armoire's carved elements which are Brittany in character.
