This chest with its four graduated drawers (9.5" to 4.75") is a good quality example of the period. The chest has: inset drawer locks, wood escutcheons, fine dovetail joinery, pine dust drawer linings, turned feet, side gallery, carved mirror supports, adjustable mirror and two small tidy drawers with turned wood and inlaid knobs.
